The New Addition

That is right everyone there is a new addition to our home. Her name is Dixie Belle. She is a full blooded basset hound puppy, that I found on the road. The vet says she was 7 weeks old when I found her last week. At first I was "looking" for her real family, but now me, Gomer, Patrick, Daisy, Milk, Cookies, and Peter the Gold Fish are her real family. So here are a could of pics of her just after her second bath ever, isn't she just so sad looking? She is just a sweetheart and a half, how can you not just fall in love with this face???

She isn't THAT bad at taking a bath, but if given a choice she would rather not take one. Lol

Dixie Belle .. oh what a sweetie ...

how on earth could anyone lose a 7week old puppy? That's the age that they can safely move from their original family to the new owners.

Someone out there is devastated I think - but it's wonderful that Dixie Belle was found by you guys. You'll love her to life!

PS puppies were born into our house hold last weekend. Full bloodied - tiny - golden retrievers. They are now 5 days old ... come and take a peak - but quietly - if they all wake up it's quite a racket!!!
